Muraya Moore

Muraya is a Brisbane-based director seeking to explore untold stories. As a Japanese-Australian woman, Muraya strives to use her work to foster a more diverse and inclusive film sector. With a taste for surrealism, she hopes her films will challenge audiences to question and interrogate who we are and the world around us.

Her short films ‘Lemons’ and ‘Prima’ have screened at numerous festivals around Australia including the St Kilda Film Festival, Gold Coast Film Festival, Sydney Underground Film Festival and the West End Film Festival. ‘Prima’ was nominated for Best Tertiary Short Fiction at the ATOM awards and won Best Cinematography at the Gold Coast Film Festival in the Emerge Showcase.

She has directed music videos for Australian artists including Halfway, Sarah Stockholm and Eloelo.
